Inter Milan’s squad held a final training in Milan on Monday, before Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Barcelona.

The Italians, who find themselves on top of their domestic league, are competing with the German side Borussia Dortmund for qualification into the knock-out rounds of the competition. As it stands, both sides have 7 points, with Inter in second place and Dortmund in third due to the Italy’s superior goal difference. Barcelona have already qualified, they top the group with 11 points.

Uruguayan Luis Suarez scored a late winner when the two teams met in the reverse fixture in October.

“It’s an important game”, said Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte while speaking ahead of the game,

adding that a win would mean continuing the team’s experience in the prestigious tournament.

“We’ll have to give it all, knowing that even giving it all, sometimes it’s not enough against teams such as Barcelona,” Conte warned.

Inter will face Barcelona at San Siro Stadium in Milan on Tuesday. The kick-off is set at 20:00 GMT.
